yappa-ng is an easy to use online PHP photo
gallery. It has a comfortable and elaborate
album-oriented photo album administration Web
interface. Each picture can be viewed in many
different sizes with resizing created
automatically on the fly. It has complete user
selectable language support, and supports password
protected albums, hit counters for albums and
images, album info, image captions, gallery

The major new feature for this release is that users can add comments to the images. The User Comments feature 'Smilies' (emoticons) and JavaScript code to just click onto the smilies to integrate them into the text. Users can even edit their comment before saving. It's very easy to add more smilies of your own or change existing smilies. All new features are easy to enable/disable for each album separately with the help of the Album Admin menu. As Album Admin, you can easily delete selected comments if they are offensive or just unwanted.

This release has no restrictions to any filetypes or MIME types to display or present, even if it's a "non-resizeable file" like PDF, movie, audio, or "office". If a snapshot of this file (screencapture, etc.) is available, it will be displayed instead of the stereotype filetyperelated thumbnail.
