A basic but user-friendly "Find Files" utility was
added. It can be launched from the command line,
too. Folder handler problems that previously
interfered with nautilus under GNOME were fixed.
The menu item shown in the system menu was renamed
from "PCMan File Manager" to "File Manager" for
better usability.
You can now optionally open items with a single click. The preference dialog is now GNOME HIG compliant, but will use a non-GNOME HIG compliant, more compact layout on small screens. Support for calling the preference dialog from the command line with --show-pref was added. The wallpaper of PCManFM's desktop window can be changed via the command line with --set-wallpaper. Opening the preference dialog no longer blocks the desktop window and other folder windows. All implicit functions were fixed.
